Look, I know what you're thinking. You came here expecting to see that little picture of Daniel holding his pumpkin from last Halloween, only to snicker at my sheer disregard for this blog and the millions of devoted readers whom I kicked by the wayside. I know. The truth of the matter is this. It's been pretty damn busy around here with the holidays, visits, even "work" has gotten in the way to the point where I don't even read personal email any more. Well, I still like to check out those messages from that guy in Singapore offering me free organic Viagra samples, but that's another story. Oh yeah, and the chain letters I am required to forward to 20 of my closest friends. What? You didn't get any from me? I'm sure I sent them out?
No matter. I've decided that my Lenten observance this year will be to be more diligent with my blog. I owe it to you, the adoring public. There are many stories to tell and many photos to upload. Every picture tells a story. Stories of joy ...

Well it's been about a week and we have finally recovered from the big party, this year at Peter Piper Pizza, a smaller cleaner version of Chuck E. Cheese (Carlos E. Queso for our friends south of the border). I truly can't believe that Dan the Man is now 4 years old ... until he reminds me that LeBron James "is a good player" or something to that effect.
